Sustainability aspects in consulting
In its advisory activities on insurance investment products and financial investments, the
company is currently not pursuing a strategy of taking specific sustainability aspects into
account. The negative effects of investment decisions on sustainability factors are also not
currently taken into account.
However, the company constantly and regularly checks the insurance investment products and
financial investments on offer for the inclusion of sustainability aspects and the consideration
of negative effects of investment decisions on sustainability factors. To determine and
evaluate the most important sustainability aspects, the company evaluates the product
information from insurance companies and issuers and takes into account the information on
non-financial risks. For this purpose, the company will, if necessary, use the evaluation by
third parties. As soon as insurance investment products and financial investments are designed
accordingly, the company also includes aspects of sustainability in its advisory activities on
such contracts.
OVB's remuneration structures and guidelines do not provide any incentives against
considering sustainability risks in insurance and investment advice.
